Uaru Cichlid

Just wondering what you guys thought of the Uaru Cichlid, both the amphiacanthoids and fernadezyepezi?
Any Uaru keepers on here, heard their not all that common due to export reasons.

Very beautiful fish, would like to know more about them and your own opinions

Nice fish... The amphs are going to be much easier to find and keep. Fernandezypezei are more of an "advanced fishkeepers" species... Even the most knowledgable hobbyists I know have had trouble keeping them.

yeah, they're like water goats. need lots of veggie stuff. Google them. They can become quite interactive but also prefer living in groups.
I WILL NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TANK for all the fish I want. LOL! If you can keep some, U R a lucky dog. MFK is full of luckier dogs than me.
