Yes I keep a group of 5 with several severums with no issues at all

Uaru fernandezyepezi are found with Hero's, Crenicichla regani, angels, and Sataroperca in nature at an average pH of 5.
Uaru amphiacanthoides are found all over Brazil so tolerant of many more water types, and tank mates.
