it looks like 2 of my Pandas have paired off. I have had these for just under 2 years from juveniles. I had problems over the last 6 months with a bad case of HITH with I put down to a faulty thermometer( 3 months of 34 degrees). Last week they started to pair of and have made a pit in the corner of the tank(vid attached) and they have continued like this since then. no sign of eggs.
I have also setup a stream on twitch which will be up most of the time https://www.twitch.tv/afishything

Subbed. I want these one day:-)

So, 1 week later and still no spawn. They have made pits in 2 different parts of the tank and have never left each others side.
This would be their first spawn. Is there anything I can do or should I just be patient ?
If anyone has got them to spawn before, how long was the wait ?

Because of my high mineral water I've never been able to keep them, but I wonder if an infusion of black, tannin rich water with the next water change might trigger a spawning response?
Some soaked boiled down leaf water, or even green tea?
