Has anyone kept hornwort in a uaru tank? I have had ok luck with anubias and was looking for another

I found mine would eat the anubias, especially the roots, and leave long stringy hair-like fibres all thru the tank. How big are yours? Larger uaru will nibble on driftwood, in my experience anything green doesn't stand a chance...
I have only one in the tank and it is about 7 inch. He will pick on the plants but they are still alive and it been about 3 months.

very true, my Uaru actually swims into the net and proceeds to bite the heck out of it (my net is green).
