uaru in a 75

how big do these guys get i tried the search function and didnt find much would they be ok with 2 severums in and how big of a tank would i need thankyou very much for your help

They can get 10-12". About 8" is the norm, they do fine with Severums. I keep my pair in a 50 gallon tank. Ken

A uaru and two severums will get too big for a 75g.

A single uaru, a pair of severums, or (maybe depending on temperments) a uaru and a severum would work.

as long as no pairs form 2 sevs with 2 uaru will be fine in a 75 (assuming its a standard one at 4ft long). uaru are great fish, quite peaceful. my 2 only got angry when they tag teamed the blue acara when it had the bright idea to fight 2 fish twice its size. they love bloodworm, to quote one member "its like crack to uaru". they need a decent vegetable component to their diet. algae wafers are a good substitute if you dont have the usual zuchinni, peas etc. cheap plants are good as they like to graze and they will have a bash at fake plants until they eventually figure they cant eat them. they need wood to nibble on as well, something to do with their digestive system.
they are not as weak as some may have you believe and they are more than capable of fighting. my 2 hung around with my 6" GT when i got them and they were just 1" maybe thats why mine were a bit ballsy they had a tough bodyguard.
