uaru requirements

i wa wondering how big they get and what there temperment is like. and would they do ok with 2 severums and how big of a tank do i need thasnkyou very much for your help

10" seems to be the average "max" size I've found doing research on mine. I'm keeping my two with a pair of turquoise Sevs and a A. metae in a 125. By themselves I'd do a 75g for a long term home , with Sevs I'd go 100g+ due to the adult sizes of them and the Sevs. As for temperent , very peaceful from my experience with them and what I've heard from others .

They'll get over 10" but it takes some time.

The one I sold to Cam was 10" and less than 2 years old, just to give you an idea. They are said to do best in groups when young but mine was just fine as the only uaru, as an adult. I had him with severums and a chocolate cichlid in a 170, 125 would probably be fine for your uaru and severums but a 75 would be a bit tight.
