I have a group of awesome Uaru that I hate to break up, but they eat so much that the eartheaters aren't getting any food. And they're getting too big. So I've got to break them up.

I think it makes sense to sell a trio. They're all larger than a fish - I guess 5" is probably about right. They're NOT super orange, and honestly, I'm not 100% convinced they're the Orange species... though they do have the black stripe ending in the way that oranges do. Otherwise, though, they're only a bit lighter in color than their regular amphacanthiodes friend.

See for yourself in the photos. They're crap quality because right now the tank is in a hallway and I can't back up far enough. The one where they're distant might include the regular Uaru A with some oranges for comparison.

Actually I can stick on some older pics too (with the dark background); they're bigger now, but at least it lets you see more about the colors.

Also for sale is a group of six burundi Frontosa. I think there are 4 4" females and 2 5" males. They were sold to me as mpimbwe and I didn't know any better, so I got ripped off. They would eventually get a larger tank here, but not for a while, so I might as well get them off into a better home. They're in good shape and also eat like pigs.

Call it $25 or best offer per fish... also willing to entertain trades for:

- adult eartheaters, especially full size orangeheads
- 3-4" clown loaches
- adult demasoni
- albino socolofi
(feel free to tell me if you see any of these just for sale outright locally too, please)

Fronts pending. Going to a great home! (though I do have to keep them for another month before that happens)

The orange guys are actually starting to look orange. About time.

I think they prefer a light background (ie, no background) to the dark one. They're quite noticeably different from the regular one now.

Crappy photo from today to show the color. They're impossible to photograph for two reasons: they always move whenever I'm close because they want to be fed; and the tank is in a hallway right now while I deal with the flood I caused, so I can't get any farther away from the glass than about a foot.
