Did anyone notice that Forrest beat Rampage? Any thoughts? I am shocked...Although I do not post in MMA threads, I love to read them....Break the fight down for me please guys:D

Didn't watch it.. but heard it the next day.. Not real suprised but either way both are great guys.

I couldn't watch the fight, but from what I understand, Forrest landed more punches/kicks, but Rampage's were more effective. Scoring was pretty close, some think that Rampage should have won, but people think that in any fight thats close. Personally, in Title fights, I lean twords letting the guy with the belt keep it unless it totally certain the challenger won.

go forest!!!!!!!! but rampage is a good funny guy that acts mean!!!!! i like both of them but forest is better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the thing is that rampage tried to beat him by points i never saw rampage well rampage for ko's like i normally see from him, i watched an interview of forrest where said "rampage cant go five rounds", then rampage said "cant go five rounds!?" so it seems like rampage went for a point match just my opinion though

I think he actually did that against Dan Hendersen too.

Forrest is pretty hard to knock out too.....

yeah forrest has alot of chin for sure

I watched, do so religiously, I'll admit it. But.. Yes forrest won, obviously, by unanimous decision. I do think he took the fight but not all 5 rounds and i believe a couple of the judges gave him all 5. He was chopping at rampage's lead leg and was pushing the pace more, rampage got some hits in but forrest did work more. I am a big fan of forrest and i am not a big rampage fan but i also believe that to be the champ you have to beat the champ and i don't believe forrest "beat" rampage. I think the rematch being spoke of definitely should happen but i think rampage should fight once before it and forrest should have to defend the belt once before it. just my $0.02

forrest won and won by using his head, he kept away from rampage and backed off on rampages attacks.
basically forrest won and it was not that close imo, the only thing that makes people think it was close is due to the fact that if rampage connected properly with a couple of shots in one attack then it was game over, forrest won by stopping him doing this and in doing so ran the fight.
