UG Jets?

I am considering setting up a 125 to house an arowana and some discus. I like the idea of the undergravel jets for water circulation. would it be a bad idea since theese fish like relatively still water?

I have 2 arows and one plays in the current and the other one avoids it I say try it out. If he don't like it you can always take it out or point them to the glass or in a different direction.

I have 1 silver aro 13-14" and 8 disc 4-5", now that my fish are at this size, the current does not effect them that much. try it out your fish will let you know if there is a problem. You also may want to turn it off at night to give the discus still waters for resting or provide dead spots where there is little or no current

Thanks for the replies. Thats awesome Bderick just the tank i am looking to do. What would you suggest for my fist tankmate to get the tank seasoned before adding the discus or arowana?
