So, im in stident theater and the senior that ill be working with in the light booth is a good friend of mine. we were all set to be the 2 guys working in lights, and he was gonna teach me all that he knew. all was good. now, all of a sudden, like 3 more people wanna work in lighting too. wtf? how are 5 people supposed to work on a 2 foot wide light board during a show? it doesnt make sense...... and not to mention, the one person on the planet whom i actually dislike is working in lighting.

i know this is the last thingyou want to hear but you need to be mature in this situation and be chill with it or if its that big of a deal have you and your friend (the original light person) talk to them and tell them how it really is only a two person job

well if i was you, i'd do two things. some people may disagree but each to his own . wait for the person to annoy you and have a huge go at them. argue and stuff until you've said everything that was on your mind. because you've argued with that person you can then just ignore them completely and happily do your job, but that only works if you really dont care about arguing.

or you can just try to do your job and forget completely about the annoying guy.

yeah i am being mature about if i just needed to vent.. my friend is also wondering how 5 people will work in a small light booth... apparently not everyone is allowed to work lights during the show, so chances are ill be left with my friend...

the annoying guy is a big wuss and if i get a chance im gonna rip him to shreds..... verbally, that is. so far hes started a couple argumentsin which he was wrong lol.

You could always electrocute them. Leave a little bit of water on the ground, fray and cut the wire open, then ask them to plug the light in. Boom! Problem solved.
