Ever been so absolutely exhausted that it hurt to even blink, but yet for whatever reason when you lay down you can't fall asleep?

I ache from head-to-toe from this past weekend and all I want to do is pass out for the next 36 hours, but I can't fall asleep and I don't know why

As a totally off topic aside I once met a little girl who was in Ft. Polk hospital to have her tonsils out shortly after her dog had not come back from the vets due to an injury. The girl, about 6, was very sad and very brave, it seems that some one had unthinkingly told her she would be "put to sleep" for the operation. See the problem? It all was worked out in the end but even though this happened in 1978 it still brings a tear to my eye whenever it crosses my mind. Go to sleep.
