It could be, but it depends on where the clip was taken. Wetas only live in and around New Zealand. If it was taken in the U.S., it could be Jerusalem Cricket which is native to the Western United States. They get pretty big too.
Heres a photo of one. The one in the clip is a female. You can tell by the oviposter (the thing that looks like a stinger) which is used to lay eggs in the soil.
Here in North America we have mole crickets. Equally disturbing to look at. Thankfully I've only discovered one of these in my life in a wooded area of Southern Indiana. Definately not something anyone would want to cuddle.
