show us your ugly tanks!

don't be shy, i know a lot of you have really nice setups but surely some of you have got at least one ugly tank. a work in progress perhaps? something tucked away in a shameful corner of your basement?

i was inspired by a thread about terra cotta pots where everyone jumped in to exclaim how ugly they are. so that got me thinking; what's the ugliest tank?

so show us your rainbow gravel, walls of algae, diving dogs and ufo's!!!
this is supposed to be fun so try to keep the comments at least somewhat civil. there's only one rule: the tank has to be up and running with some type of wet pet in it.

i'll start this awkward game of self-deprecation...

hahaha, i love this game. I'll see if I can find any ugly tank pics...
Surely with the turtles I used to keep, I can find something.

*EDIT
Are we allowed to post other people tanks that are hideous?
Not to be mean, but to.. you know... intervene?

I think I take the cake in this one

Note the ever so stylish duct tape that is preventing my rubber maid bin from bowing.

LOL nice. I've done this but it was temporary.

fish tank cracked, been looking for a craigslist replacement for like 2 months now. I'm gonna give in and buy a new one after this week if I don't find one

I have a few ugly tanks...

The first one is a fiberglass 4x4x2. I acquired it twenty years ago from a defunct Koi hatchery. I cut three windows in it and siliconed in 3/8" glass windows. It has been a great tank, tough as nails and I can move it myself.

The second photo has a couple of ugly tanks and a couple of not-so-ugly tanks. The 25 gallon fiberglass tank on the right is pretty ugly, as is the acrylic 55 on the floor.

The last photo is off craigslist, it is super ugly but at the same time kind of cool. I can't remember exactly how much they wanted, but it was too much.
