This month the government declared its intentions to make the deadly Koi Herpes Virus (KHV) a notifiable disease, bringing it in line with other virulent diseases such as SVC. Assuming that everyone involved reaches an agreement that notifiable status is the right way to go, within the next couple of years it could become a legal obligation to inform the authorities if you suspect your fish are suffering from the virus.

At the moment, shops, fisheries, wholesalers and fishkeepers do not need to tell anyone if they believe their fish are suffering from KHV, and this, combined with the withdrawal of free testing a couple of years ago, has led many to suggest that the virus is much more widespread than reports suggest.

I'll call Sherwood forrest farm park fisherys and see if everythings ok with there stock, i'm sure it will be ok but lets make safe anyways .

The virus has been found in the US for the last few years in Koi. The big problem is that it can also be give to food fish by run-off or direct contact. They have been KOI farms that the US fish and wildlife have closed and burned all of the fish and drained/limed the ponds.
