hi,
just started fairly recently keeping big guys and they are already a higher priority than my wife! (they relieve stress where my wife only creates it!:nilly:)
i currently have a red oscar, a senegalis bichir, an armoured bichir, fire eel and a leopard sailfin plec.
my favourite has got to be the fire eel though as he now hand feeds every morning and is actually quite affectionate towards me (unlike my wife!:irked:)

Hi happy tanker and welcome to the site, what size tank have you got these guys in and also how long have they been together as plecs and polys shouldnt really be mixed as they have a tendency to suck on the polys slime coat which can lead to infection and death,oh and get some pics up asap as we likes pictures!

Steve

welcome to mfk... nice to meet you... and glad your apart of this great forum... any questions about mfk..please do not hesitate to ask.. always here to help... enjoy.

hi and thanks for the welcome!
to answer the first question, i have had the polys and the plec in together from day one and they have grown up together without any problems for about 4 months now the only problem fish is the oscar just doesnt like sharing with anyone but i am in the process of building a new setup into an alcove in my living room which will be a lot bigger so hopefully he wont feel so cramped and get on better with the others!

Ok buddy, just keep an eye on it and when you can,get some pics on.

Steve

at the moment they are in a temporary 3ft setup while i am sorting out my bigger setup in the alcove in my living room which is proving to be a little more awkward than i originally thought!:irked:
