Ukulele surprise visit!

So I have been looking into buying a Ukulele and learn how to play it. I want to learn how to play Just the Way you are by Bruno Mars before my girlfriends birthday. I plan on doing a surprise visit to her university dorm on her birthday and play that song when she opens her door

Also want to learn how to play Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole

Any of you guys play the Ukulele? My cousin plays it and he said when I order mine he's going to teach me.

Was it hard learning to play it?

I play a bit of guitar and have always wanted to learn how to play a ukulele as well as a mandolin, throw in the banjo for good measure too. Ive been listening to Mumford and Sons too much lately.
