my koi recently have gotten ulcers on them and two weeks later they are eaten up with ulcers and are dead it is really sickening any ideas?

Give me a few minutes, I just read about this disease.

Okay, I'm back.
I never ran into this but 3 sites agree that it is "hole in side" disease, a bacterial ulceration similar to bacterial hemmorhagic septicemia but without the red streaking. To treat add a med containing oxilinic acid to the feed and treat the pond with a prodoct like Forma-green that contains formalin and malachite green together. This will be hard on your biofilter bacteria. The disease is caused by Aenomonas or Psuedomonas fluorecens bacteria. Apparently it is occassionaly a real killer at Koi farms.

Thanks a lot now i can save my fish

All three sites also recomended addind 1 1/4 oz. aquarium salt per 10g of water to koi ponds as a preventative measure. Don't do it at the same time as the meds though, wait until the forma-green has been removed.
