I'm in the process of sorting my new 3/400 gal tank for my Rays.

Will be a 7x3 footprint and like the look of having two ultra reef overflows as they are very flush and out through side of the aquarium meaning more floor space for rays and no unsightly weir.

However I guess I'll be running approx 12000 litres per hour turnover, but the overflows say they are rated for 1000-1500 kph which seem very low as its a 50mm pipe.

Anyone had any experience with these?

At 55£ each they're not cheap so want to get any feedback first!!

Thanks

Check into H2Overflows. They provide a lot of surface skimming and also mount to the side or back of the tank. They also are not cheap but they are rated at 1,200 gph each. I have three on my 220 that I plan on running about 1,500 gph turnover rate through.
