Have you taken him out and physically tried to return his mouth to the original position? I've had this same problem with a thinbar, but it always has resolved itself on its own. I would wait another day and if it's still stuck, I would go ahead and try to physically put it back in its normal position. GL.
 
I would try to remove it from his mouth immedietly before you have further problems.

Whoa, that's crazy. How big is that NTT?

I agree with everyone else...you'll lose him if you don't try to remove the fish and reset the jaw.
 
Finally pulled it out. The fish was sort of stuck, I had to wiggle and pull for some time. He's resting on the bottom now, jaw still locked open, breathing heavily. I don't know if he's going to make it.
