Have you taken him out and physically tried to return his mouth to the original position? I've had this same problem with a thinbar, but it always has resolved itself on its own. I would wait another day and if it's still stuck, I would go ahead and try to physically put it back in its normal position. GL.
I'd try and get him out and if the fish is still in there remove it. Although be careful. I've lost a Pbass because it ate a small fish which got stuck through his gill.

I agree with everyone else...you'll lose him if you don't try to remove the fish and reset the jaw.

Finally pulled it out. The fish was sort of stuck, I had to wiggle and pull for some time. He's resting on the bottom now, jaw still locked open, breathing heavily. I don't know if he's going to make it.
