I am aware that their diet in the wild mainly consists of crusteceans- crabs being on the menu, but prawns allegedly being their favorites. That said, would it be safe and viable to catch crayfish for one? What about those little invasive green crabs? I'm sure the crayfish bit is safe in terms of nutrition, but I'm not sure about marine crabs, since I've heard marine prawns have thiaminase, so I was just wondering.

Don’t feed live without either qting or freezing as they contain parasites/diseases

I wouldn't. Too much risk of parasites. I'd feed good quality pellets + live red wigglers

Can’t forget to refrigerate the worms so they poop out the parasites
(Put worms on wet paper towers in fridge so they poop out parasites and soil)
