Whats the average growth rate of Umbee's? I've had my three for about 6-7 months and the largest is just around 5" maybe, the 2nd largest is just smaller than the largest and the last one is about half the other two's size. Everything I have read has lead me to believe they are supposed to be above average growers but I'm not seeing it. They are in 180g w/ 30-50% weekly WC's and the temp steady 78-80F. The tank has two magnum 350 canisters, an old ebo jaber canister filter, an AC500 and a fluval fx5. I feed them cich. gold pellets, some carnivore floating pellets, and suppliment some freeze dried krill and blood worms every so often.....why the slow growth? Thanks for your imput

I've had 2 umbees for like 3.5 to 4 months and they seem to be growing like an inch every month. They were 2.5" when I first got them and they are about 7" now. I only feed them 1 time a day. You should stay away from feeding umbee's too much food. Yes you might have some females but again who knows?
