Well i was thinkin bout gettin me a juvie umbee at like bout 2".If i did get him he'd be kept in a 180 gallon fish tank thats bout a 8x2x2.For a while and then ill transfer it to my uncles 450 gallon which is big but is still empty.I need to know how big it gets to be and what are the compatibility with it.I heard many stories bout them being very very aggressive which i really do belive is true.If i were to keep it with another cichlid which would be ok in the tank wit it?The 450 gallon were used for our 3 Silver arowanas which were bout 28" a 18" Managuense a 12" Flowerhorn a 23" Dovii a 12" Red Devil a 19" Jardini and 2 26" Clown knife and a Common Pleco and 3 13" Synspilum.Now they are all in Florida in my grandparents 1000 gallon man made tank which they have 4 12" Florida Gars.For sure thay gotten alot bigger as the last time i saw them which was a year ago.So give all the info bout dis umbee.Thx

Umbee are definately big and mean. I'd be really careful about keeping anything with it even in a 450. I know it's hard to believe, but if you've ever seen a 24 inch umbee you'd have to agree. Anyway, I would go ahead and buy one, espescially since you already have a huge tank lined up for him/her.

oh cuz i got a 2-3" managuense ryt now in a 180 gallon and was just wondering bout them if they could go together in their for a while till i move them into the 450 gallon later.Also could i see some juvie and adult pics of them monster? =) i want to see what would be expected of them thank!
