Umbee m or f?

Starting to think male? About 5 inch, vent looks pointy...
Do females get red cheeks?
I've read through lots of threads but need an experts eye?
I have another about 3 inch, I'm hoping they are female or at least 1, bet I get two males!-)

no black on the pelvic or dorsal fin so i'd say male atm

IMO I'd agree that it's also too soon to tell. Both my male and female looked like this until sexually mature. First thing I began to notice on my female was the black on the dorsal which she didn't acquire until around 8 inches... For the male, he was extremely timid and pale as a juvie but again around 8" he started to develop deep blue coloration, a maroonish colored head and he turned into a psychopath in terms of attitude.
