I have over 50 umbee fry 3" and they are killing each other off one by one every day. I separated one of the fry when i first got them a year ago. this one has trippled in size since then, leaving the rest stunted. He is now around nine inches. Very beautiful and aggressive. What to do with the rest of the fry? It seems they all need to be in a seperate tank in order to mature into monster fish. Im feeding them a mixture of beef hearts and vegetables to stable their diets. 3" fry have no color just dull brown and aggresive. They don't make good tank mates with other cichlids their size. They don't look good enough until they reach about six inches. Then you'll begin to see what your about to have as a umbrieferum monster fish. I feel like i'm the only woman into these massive beautiful monsters from Columbia and it feels great! Does anyone else have any big specimens for sale? I've spent over 1200.00 to get mine?

umbees are extremely aggressive towards each other. They will slowly kill each other sooner or later. . sell some off or maybe try to get a pair???
