My friend Chris wanted to clean up his garage and set up bigger and better tanks for his Umbee Pets and so I visited and helped him out yesterday. I brought my camera as well and took some pictures of his two Umbee pairs. Both pairs are holding free-swimming, healthy fry. There must be easily a thousand fry in each tank and the parents are so dedicated in guarding them.
I have seen these two beasts when they arrived and hats off to Chris for bringing them back to health and for breeding them as well.
These pictures were taken in the afternoon so we had to close the garage door and use regular aquarium lighting. The pictures turned out dark and so I had to enhance the lighting after. If you would like to see a more normal setting, you can send Chris or me a personal message and we would gladly show you pictures that were not enhanced or edited.
