When i frist saw this male up for sale back in october, as a long time umbee keeper I knew i had to have it, but it was to far for me to pick him up, so it was'nt nothing i could do but when I saw he was still for sale a month latter I could'nt believe it. so time past, and the end of december I contact cichlid8336 to see if the umbee was still for sale I knew it was a long shot but what the hack i thouht i'll try anyway, he contact me back and informed me that Jeff Rapps has purchase the fish, so it was not time for me to give up now, so I contact Jeff asap he confirm to me that he indeed did buy the fish so my next question to him was would you sell it, and he told me that he really was'nt interested in selling it and he bought the fish for his home 320g cause it was so beautiful but the umbee was a lil to mean for the other in the tank, so he told me only way he would sell it, is that I have to make him a offer he can't refuse , so i said what could I possibly offer you a man of your stature , so I sent him a offer and he said I would have to double that cause he really do'nt want to sell him so I thought i must have this umbee so I double the offer, and of yesterday he shipped the fish out to me. only thing is the hump has went down but he has grown from 9.5" to 12" in just 3 months. that boy is prolly the nicest I've seen from my general line! Please take good care of that guy and if you do decide to sell for what ever reason please give him a chance to return home first
