What I do and what I say you should do are two different things. I way over feed my fish. Once mature a daily feeding is really all that is necessary, but I can't help myself and I feed most of my fish three times a day (again I do not recommend this). I get away with it due to small feedings and huge amounts of water changes. In any case here is what I do. Mornings I feed all my fish freeze dried jumbo krill that I soak for about 10 minutes. The smaller fish get the krill torn up and the bigger guys get them whole. Mid day I feed Dainichi color supreme and evenings I feed fry or NLS jumbo formula pellets. I also on occasion feed fresh cucumber,spinach or zucchini and finally to my Parachromis Hikari Carnivore pellets as a treat now and then....

Thanks!! Thats exactly what I was looking for. I completely understand where you come from but what your doing works very well and have fish live well into their teens so I'm gonna look into doing something similar. I'm a firm believer of water changes and lots of them too.
 
This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing! Ordering Jumbo krill now!!:-) I feed twice to three a day, just can't bare watching them beg for food!! LOL
