Umbee Weight lifting lol

I had been trying to record this for some time, sadly I was never close enough or fast enough to grab the camera. They both like to lift these little logs that I placed around the tank and they will spend hours doing this, even when not courting. Every morning I find them placed somewhere else.

In the video the female didn't get a solid grip so she dropped it really quick, but sometimes she will swim with the log to the top of the tank and watch it drop down. It's quite heavy for them (Malaysian driftwood) so I find it very interesting and wanted to share. And it also looks funny lol

That male is looking tight!!!!! How big is he now? I'm sure he's packing on quite a lot of bulk with all that wieght lifting lol why do you have them divided?

He's still 6" but getting thicker. I divided them cause after the eggs died he wanted to breed again and she was having a hard time keeping up, she was full of bite marks and split fins. Since I'm going on vacations to South America on Thursday I'll leave the divider up so I don't have to worry about aggression while I'm away. He's gotten really nasty over the past two weeks banging the glass and biting everything I put there so I don't wanna take chances.
