Here are a few pictures of my San Rafael's Rio Playa's Caquetaia Umbriferus (Gorillus Black)pair. I've had them separated for almost 6 months now. My purpose for doing so was to give them a break from spawning as these two were none stop
Since then I've sold out of Juvenile's and have been getting a lot of request for more of them. With that said I did a large water change and built a very nice new cave for Mamma Gorillus
then let these two start to do there thing. A very impressive display of colors, head shaking, tail slapping and several face offs went down in the aquarium. Currently in the pictures King Kong's Nuchal hump is down but give him a week or two and that thing will be 2-3 times the size it is now. Ill post pictures up then for comparison. I noticed with this guy that his Nuchal hump peaks out prior to spawning then post spawn it goes down.. Maybe I should give this guy some Viagra so he can keep it up
All right, enough of my corny jokes here are my Gorillus Black pair. Enjoy!!
