I have been interested in umbees for a while and apparently there are different kinds? How many different types are there like blue, black, gorillus etc. and do they differ from from eachother depending on which region they are from? I am having a tough time finding info on them. I watched a video of a guy catching a black gorillus umbee and I like it. What is the difference between it and a blue gorillus? where can i get one that is black background and bright blue spangling (i guess thats what I call it) like on a JD. I have seen pictures and that is the kind I want.

You're referring to a MFK member "UmbeeKing" he collected both the blacks and the blues in Columbia from 2 secret regions. Looks at his threads, you can always PM him and buy F1 fry directly from him. He ships also. He's a very knowledgeable guy who has really made me appreciate both "Festae and Umbee"

You also have Panamanian green and Rio Magdalena blue the "common" Umbee. Like FlaFishLeo said PM Umbeeking for the two strains he brought back from Columbia, and I think he has told people the location of one of the strains. They all look good, different body structure from strain to strain. They all get very large.
