Whats up MFK Fam! I just wanted to show some pixs of a Festae pair I've been working with for a couple of months now. The male is W/C from Ecuador and the female is F1 from a fellow member here. Today they were showing much interest in each other so I snapped the pixs away. What do you think?
finally got some pics up they look freakin awesome. the flash kinda washed her out in that first pic, but she looks great in the rest for sure. and that male... bad a@# bro great job hopefully theyll rent a room soo lol keep us posted
Thank you all for the positive feedback. These guys are a real joy to have. The male is around 9 1/2 to 10inches and eats like a beast. The female is about 8 1/2 or a little more. She can be shy at times as well as the male but once you settle down infront of the tank they are both out doing there thing. The only difference that I can tell with the male being a W/C and the female being F1 is that the male hits the surface of the water really hard when he goes after food. The female stays there and eats without a care. These guys are foresure my second favorite Cichlid, I may have to plan a trip to Ecuador and collect some next. Here are a couple more shots I took. Thanks again MFK Fam.
Hey were did that UMBEE picture come from? J/k I had to through that in there real quick. I'll have to make a thread for him. He is a freakin MONSTER and will eat anything that moves.
