My LFS in Maine has the first Jardini I have ever seen there. The owner put a sign on the tank that this PLATINUM Arowana sells for $80,000 and he is selling this 9" for $300... I'm not quite tracking him. It is a beautiful fish, I tried to snap a pic but came in a little blurry

It seems like he's trying to take advantage of ignorant people. If he did have a platinum aro, illegal in the states, i sure as Heck wouldn't advertise it like that, he's just asking for trouble lol

facepalm facepalm facepalm......nice common jardini. That's not even close to platinum! I honestly wouldn't buy the fish for half the price.
 
No I had fun telling him the real price. I offered him $150 which is more than I would pay but he said never... I will see that fish there in 5 months still
