i have a green terror, electric blue peacock, yellow lab, jardini, tiger oscar, pleco, black ghost knife, & what i believe to be a peacock with assorted colors of purple, white, orange, blue, & a golden gouarami. there are hundreds of very tiny brownish eggs in a big nest that's a really big hole. so i'm guessing it has to be a cichlid. i would think the green terror & oscar mated with that big of a nest. well none of my fish are no more bigger than 4 inches. is it possible that it can be an oscar and a gt? or what do you think?

and yea i know i'll have to seperate it. can i move the eggs to another tank with a net?

this is interesting....hmm...i would guess its one of the cichlids too...one sure way to find out!

4got to mention, the tank is 80 degrees, ph is between 6.5-7.0 in a 29 gallon tank. i would never thought they would breed in that crappy tank.

:WHOA: :WHOA: You have that many fish in a 29 g? You need to get them to a bigger tank ASAP

yeah that is a bit overstocked.

yea i know, i only have a spare 10 gallon with no heater. i was planning to give it away when they grow bigger tho and exchange it for smaller fish.

They are already to big for that tank. Get them a new home now

yea im pretty sure its the green terror that laid the eggs, it has been around that nesting area more often now. but who is the father? or is it possible there's a virgin birth lol? but i would really love to see a half GT & half jardini fish tho even if it's almost impossible =]
