Allright so my uncle has had this largemouth bass in his 55 gallon tank for probably 4 years, ever since it was about 3 inches, and its now about... 18"ish. I have a 125 gallon already fairly stocked.
My fish are as follows:
19" Marbled Pim
8" Oscar
8" Flowerhorn
5" Electric blue Ahli
12" Common Plec
6" irridescant shark
3.5" blood parrot
and a 2" blood parrot

my water is probably averaging around 84 degrees Fahrenheit

I'm thinking A) my water is too warm anyways
B) half of my fish would get eaten up, the others would just get killed
C) he's had his fish primarily eating feeders... it may have parasites....

I personally think it probably would not work out the greatest, but thought I would see if anyone has tried a combination similar to this and see how there setup faired out for them... Any opinoins and thoughts are appreciated!

Yea first off...Your uncle is CRAZY! An 18" fish in a 55 gallon! Sorry man but that makes me sick just thinkng about it. Tell your uncle to find a fish he can take care of then take it off his hands a fry it up! Your tank cannot handle that fish and neither can his. I would deffinatly not take that fish and put it with your other ones. Way too many problems. BTW you may want to think about an upgrade soon yourself. Usually fish should have a tank atleast as wide as they are long. I know it isn't an extreme case though because atleast 3" of that cat is probably tail fin.

That won't work, and the bass will be spastic in 84 deg water.

if you can lower the temp it will be alrite but the bass will eat any of the fish that fit in its mouth. the 8inch and bigger would probbly be safe. maybe the 6inch but doubt it

Don't do it, your tank is already grossly overstocked. You need to re-home some of your fish before you get another.

Holy ass-machine,that 125 is horrendous!!!That flowerhorn-regardles of grade should be your main fish, not to mention he might declare open warfare when he wants to spawn:D Oh man, didn't you know you'd get FLAMED for asking that??...................................Give me your Flowerhorn rookie!

DUde!! I'd do it. Just get a big old huge 300 gallon and take it. LMB are awesome.

You definately can't keep it in the 125 but if you can buy a huge tank and take it, DO IT!!!

HAHAHAHA Let me let you in on somthing about that Bass. You said it's 18" long right? A foot and a half long bass is gonna have tails sticking out of it's mouth for a week +..........Even with the above suggested 300 gallon.I gaurantee this, having put MANY LMB'S in Neumerous gallon and tankmate schemes and situations.Take my info,or leave it.But trust me,that Bass that size will QUICKLY establish Dominace/Ownership of said tank.
