I guess a mild vent and props in some degree...
I know I've stated my proteus female is a Beautiful fish, and a nasty one. She has now beat the snot out of my aba aba knife for the second and last time... killed other tank-mates. and otherwise terrorized any fish I've tried to keep with her. to boot she's about 6"!
THe part that really shocked me about the encounter is it happened in less then 4 hours. I had moved her into a different tank ( with 2 florida gar that actually was working okay, they ignored her and she had her driftwood and would leave them alone as long as they stayed on their side of the tank) I had just received a smaller gar that she decided to harass almost instantly and followed around the tank. her past aggression history really left me uncomfortable with leaveing them "un-supervised" so I decided to re-locate her Back to the Aba's tank until I got home and would have the time to set-up another tank for her. Aba's being notoriousely aggressive I thought worst case is she'd start something and he'd give her a solid bite or 2.. If at all since she was literally netted and dumped into the tank, I figured she'd take awhile to settle in and would just chill until I got home. a few nipped fins would be the worst of it if anything...
I am now afraid to try and keep her with Anything else, and had to explaine to my husband he coudln't just flush the fish. She was doing what nature designed her to be. her latest damage... this is after 4 days of lots of water changes, and one very fast healing fish. He's actually alot less delicate then I though being he survived her trying to obviously try to bite his eyes out and left a big chunk out of his top fin.
