undergravel jet system

ok i could use a little guidence i have a 240 an i want to use a undergravel jet system to keep debris an waste off the bottom. i have a large amount of rocks in tank with a homebuilt wet/dry system useing a 55 gallon as my sump. what size pump do i need for this type of setup im running a mag 9.5 for my return from the sump
 
You could use what ever size pump you want for this. It all depends on how much flow you want.
 
do i just hook my return pump into it or do i use power heads an where can i find some diy sketches of how to plumb it up thanks pharaoh
