undergravel return

I just bought a sterilizer and powerhead, but the return is irritating my fish. I was thinking of building a spray bar or using a nozzel. What do you guys think about piping it into a piece of pvc with holes drilled in it to force the return through the gravel? Has anyone tried this? Should I try using an L shape stuck in the corner? Any better ideas?

just put an undergravel filter in it and use the power head as reverse flow..if you can.

I need to pump it through my sterilizer and I want to use my attached sponge filter.

No matter how you do it it's a fine idea. But I think plumming right into a small UGF would reep the best results.

I see. It should work the way you described but might hinder the flow(gph) a bit.
