Underwater Adhesive?????

One of my overflow walls on my acrylic tank has seperated from the back wall of the tank. I was wondering if there was any kind of adhesive that I could use to attatch the overflow to the back wall without draining the tank and siliconing it.

No, u need to drain the tank.

They make an underwater epoxy that you could try. Its only a few bucks from Foster and Smith.

epoxy isint very great at sticking glass and acrylic. i would recommend Zap gel. its a form of superglue that is able to cure underwater.

Sounds like a better idea than mine. I have only used that epoxy out of water and then placed it in the tank.

There is a silicone available here in Ireland that is aquarium safe and sets underwater. It's called Tec7.

It's good quality and resists freshwater/saltwater.

I didn't think the zap was safe until cured?
