For those who do not frequent the catfish section often.....

This was my first attempt at taping my RTC underwater. I'm happy to say my DIY waterproof housing was a success! The video is not the best but not bad for a first attempt. Next plan is to add some type of underwater mic.

can you show us the diy housing for you camera??? id like to do the same for mine.
 
The tank is an above ground indoor pond at around 1000 gallons at the level I keep the water.

The "housing" was a simple airtight container I picked up at bed bath beyond for 12 bucks. It was a good experiment just as a proof of concept.
I will now build a real housing with an underwater microphone and the correct color filter for the lens to correct the saturation of blue/green when filming underwater.
