We had an unannounced visit from a neighbor this evening. He was in the kitchen. We suspect he was aiming at raiding the fridge. This is the 4th such visit we've had this year.

A scorpion,wow!....

We used to have to make sure that the sheets didn't touch the floor when visiting my grandparents to avoid having visitors in our beds. We would find them (scorpions, not my grandparents) in the light covers and bathtubs as well, fun times

i live in a pretty rural area in we see these guys often enough too.

from time to time we find these bad boys inside.

theyre just the things that the book of revelations talks about. nothing too serious.

Hello; back in the 1950's I went to boy scout camp at camp Sequoya on Norris Lake in Tennessee. There was one tent group on a hill to be avoided because of the scorpions. Every now and then at taps we heard the cries of someone who had not checked their bed roll.

We put a large wolf spider and a smaller scorpion in a box one afternoon to see what would happen. The scorpion won.

I think scorpions glow under a black light. maybe use one of those battery operated fishing black lights to find them when it is dark.
