Unfaded Rt changed after getting beat up

They fade sometimes because of dominance issues. I have w flower horn fader usually they get very dark like yours and just become very light like pink orangish. They change again if it's a female she has a black dress she puts on
You know, I've had this happen twice now. One of my kkp x syns (the only one that faded) only started fading when it injured itself, it was either a heater burn or was a large scrape from a rock. Then years later, a sb FH started fading after a partucularly nasty bout of a viral type illness where it had to regrow a lot of it's fins.
My faded flowerhorn started to fade rapidly into its real color after a bout of ICK. It was in mid fade but changed dramatically! From normal looking with a big kok to black and orange to light orange pinkish
