Well I was reading a thread that had some negative statements about a seller on here. There was some conflict in the statements between the two parties that were involved in the issue. Well I read the posts and then I refreshed the page. The thread was gone but I saw another thread that referred to the past thread. One of the parties had the thread deleted. This is what gets to me, how can one person, not being a moderator, delete a thread? Did they contact a moderator and have them delete it? If anything, the thread could have been moved. Someone could suspect that a moderator deleted at the request of the seller that was recieving negative feedback. This seems a little political to me. The seller may have more "pull" around here than the average aquarist. If this is not the case, then I would like to know why the thread was deleted. There was no profanity used and just a situation and a concern was posted. If this is a situation of politics, then I will be leaving MFK in that case. There is no reason that post should have been deleted. This is a situation that you come across in other sites, not here. What is going on?:screwy:

I havent been on for a little while, but the sellers do have control over their own forums. That's probably what happened. As long as I have been a mod no favortism has been shown to any seller.

if you've got beef dont post in that sellers forum but in the lounge...

im guessing that sellers have control in their forums but not in other areas of MFK

Bingo.

I agree.
If I'm involved in a thread and it's not going exactly like I want it to, should I be able to delete it? Hell no!

But still, it shouldent have ben deleted. It should have ben "Moved"

as far as I know this was untouched by mods.
Repost it. I'm ok with that. Just make it informative, not condescending.

The seller might not be able to, not really sure what the sellers can and cant do in the MFK website, so given the choice of deleting it or letting it continue, i dont blame him...
