My new female Sajica laid eggs a few days ago. As there is no male in with her the eggs are unfertilized. Do I need to remove them or will she eat them or something when they start to go bad? Did a google search and got that she would eat them but practical advise from experienced keepers is better than google. My goal is to find her a male, but I can't find any right now. Her previous owner said she does this every three weeks. If I do need to remove them, how do i do so without getting bitten? She's vicious lol. I've only had her for a week, but she tries to attack my hand while i'm dropping her food in the tank. Any advice is appreciated.

Within 48 hours of being laid, fertiled eggs turn brown..Any that stay white are unfertilized. These unfertilzed eggs will turn into a white mess....Mess being a large cloud of white fungus growing from the egg, eating the egg away....This is why people remove unfertilized spawns, it pollutes the water chemistry.............The best thing to do is to get her a male, QUICK...If she lays again, remove the eggs right away(if no male is there to fertile:naughty:)..........
