Unglazed/unpainted Terra cotta pot: increase or decrease water pH?

Hello guys! I have been reading several journals or articles regarding the effect of clay pot or terra cotta pot in the water pH and I could hardly find a definite conclusion. Hope you guys can share your experiences or thoughts with this one. I haven't bought my pH tester as of the moment. Thank you so much

I use terra cotta pots in most of my aquariums.Ive never seen a fluctuation in my aquariums with and without the pots
