Yesterday while I was cleaning the Arowana/Gar tank, I had the Steelers game on and was watching it while I gravel vacced. Meanwhile, my 18" Silver Aro (which is always looking for food) decided to swoop down and grab my hand...twice! She has never bitten me underwater before! Anyway...It drew some blood and I have some nice cuts on my fingers, but nothing serious. Maybe that was her way of saying "Hey! Watch me, not the game!". Can't wait 'til she's close to 30"...that should feel good...

Haha sorry about that, i get that all the time from my 20" RCK he likes to bite me i cant wait till he gets to 30" either i hope he does they are supposed to get to 48" in the wild!

Mine used to be scared, but grew out of it fairly quickely. Now she seems to love me being around the tank...she's always begging and swimming near me.

Mine usually bites or tries to bite me every feeding. I just never had her grab me uner water.
LOL I was just too busy moving tanks. I'm a Steelers fan and wish I would've gotten to see it. I started liking the Cowboys when they had Julius Jones and picked up T.O. and Bledsoe, but now that only T.O. is left, I don't care that much for them anymore. I feel for you. After getting blood poisoning from a cat bite, my Jardini bit me while doing a water change, drew blood, wife flipped out and screamed for me to go to the hospital. I told her to get the tequilla, poored a shot, one on the thumb and, another into the tank to say nice try. The wife is convinced I'm nuts. And diseased!
