will an unheated pond cause condensation problems in a garage? i had my 300g heated in the garage and had bigtime problems, but if this becomes a coldwater pond will i have the same problems?

It won't be as bad, but an air exchanger would lessen if not remove your problem.

The main problem is when the air temp changes radically. If the air and water temps are about the same then not much extra moisture will be taken up by the air. If the garage is badly insulated though, then you will still have problems due to the air temp fluctuations

Huge difference as far as condensation. I had a 60 gallon fire mouth tank in garage in NY heated .Garage was also semi heated.

Brought the fish in the house after a yr and used unheated tank for mud darters and condensation difference was huge.

Like others have noted your going to still have condensation but a fraction of what you have with a heated tank.
