My tank is experiencing a weird thing right now on the front of the tank there seems to be incredibly small snowflake like organisms on the glass there seems to be about 100 all in a pack..spaced out enough so I could most likely count them...I've never seen anything like this...It doesn't appear to be an algae but im not to sure what they are... Um also my tank base is crushed coral and they're are quite a few live organisms in rock at the base of where all this is happening and i was wondering could they maybe be eggs stuck to the glass?? plz help

Is it freshwater? Look real close. Do they look like worms? If so, you need to clean your tank.
It could be a number of things. But I'm pretty sure they are the small worms you get when you neglect your tank.
I cant remember the name. I;m sure someone will chime in on it.
They like to congregate in little patches sometimes.
They aren't harmful to the fish. But the water could be.

Lol the tank is saltwater and is cleaned once every 2 weeks...80 gallon filter on a 55 gallon tank, 82 pounds of live rock....neglect is not the issue my friend. They do not appear to be any type of worms...BTW all my levels are correct if that helps the issue also its a brand new tank almost 2 months

You had me at "saltwater". forget what I said then. only fresh applies....

/edit. I just noticed this was in the marine/brackish section. oops. Thought it was the other disease section. My bad....

i had them too, they are perfectly harmless and are actually a good food source for your fish, they aren't algae just really small animals
