Hey guys/gals, I have a peice of driftwood in my 30 gallon planted tank and last night my wife says "hey look at all the snail eggs" I said, "there is no snails in that tank AT ALL!" so, I looked and it did appear to look like snail eggs so I took the peice out of the water and looked at it under the magnifying glass and to my disgust, there were these little,...real little, bugs or something scooting around and also these lil' gelatinous looking clumps??? What the heck are these things? They are way to small to take a picture of. I just dont want these lil' things to hurt the fish! They dont seem to be bothering anything. My best guess is either hydra or rotifiers maybe? I really have no idea.

I had them get in my tank from some plants I purchased. Thought I cleaned them off the leaves abut they made it in. Ive tried everything to get rid of them. They have destroyed a number of rare plants. Good luck
