i need help here i discovered a few strange looking parasites in my planted shrimp tank.its very small and theres no way i could get a pic of it i observed it for awhile and it moves around non stop and the shape doesnt look like argulus but kindof resembles a shape of a mouse instead.its white in colour and moves quite fast.please help me out:nilly: and identify this thing and find a cure that wont harm the plants and shrimps in the tank.thanks in adv.

I'm not sure why you think Cyclops (copepods) are parasites???
They are harmless detritus / algae feeders..No cure needed, enjoy them as a welcome addition to your tank.

I highly doubt they will ever be in competition with your shrimp..these animals eat much much tinier foods..

It is indeed a great adition to your tank.
