I really need some help with this one! I have been battling these odd little worms for months and I cannot seem to get them under control. I can't get a picture of them because they are too small but they are a light brown color and about 1/2 of a centimeter long.
They seem to spend most of the time stuck to the glass and other objects, (leaving nasty little trails everywhere) and when they swim freely they flip back and forth in an s-curve. The weird thing is that I never noticed them on the glass in the tank that I originally found them in but they have just made a huge mess of my oscar tank.
Anyways, they were originally introduced to my 50 gallon by a pair of goldfish that had been qt'ed, treated with .3% salt and dimlin. But somehow they made it in anyways. The fish in that tank got sick, (Thats a whole other story) and died so the tank got nuked. Yet somehow these damned worms survived .3% salt, dimlin, praziquantel, and bleach and made it over to my oscar tank. I have absolutely no idea how this is possible but they did it!
Can anyone give me some idea what these worms are and what else I can try???
Srry for the long post - Thank you!

They're called planaria, they live in everyones substrate and feed off of uneaten food and poop. They are like a moving clean up crew. They mainly come out and move around on your glass if you are overfeeding so try and cut down on the amount you're putting in, so they're kind of beneficial. Do a 25% water change and light gravel vac and they should clear up.
Thanks for telling me that, I am not sure why I haven't heard of these things before!
